At Central Haven, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers/companions to support individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will provide assistance with daily living activities, facilitate social interaction, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, and engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote their independence and well-being.

PERSONAL SUPPORT

Our personal care services focus on providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and reminders. We ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our clients, promoting independence and well-being.

COMPANION SERVICES

Our companion support services aim to enhance the quality of life for individuals by providing companionship, emotional support, and assistance with social activities. We prioritize building meaningful relationships and fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Supported Living Coach Services

Focuses on helping individuals live independently by providing guidance, goal-setting, life skills training, and fostering self-advocacy. This service supports clients in managing their daily routines, handling personal goals, and navigating community resources effectively.

Staff Requirements:

  • Possess a High School diploma/GED

  • Have 1+ years experience as Personal Support caregiver, Companion or similar role

  • Have proof of Florida residency

  • Have the ability to pass a Local & Level II Background Screening

  • A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required

  • Complete immediate required FREE training courses for certification

  • CPR/1st Aid Certified (Willing to obtain within 90 days)

  • Access to a Smartphone & Basic Computer Skills

  • 1 Letter of Reference
